UpcharMitra is not a pharmacy. We are the infrastructure layer underneath, connecting India's neighbourhood pharmacies into one network that healthcare products can build on.
Healthcare in India is full of disconnected pieces. We're building the layer that connects them, starting with pharmacies.
Connect neighbourhood pharmacies into one network, so finding a medicine takes minutes, not hours of going shop to shop.
A future where every neighbourhood pharmacy in India is a connected, trusted part of the country's healthcare infrastructure.
In Bihar, and in most of India, when someone falls sick, a family member goes from pharmacy to pharmacy asking for the same medicine. The stock usually exists nearby. There's just no way to know where.
We started UpcharMitra in 2025 to fix that: connect neighbourhood pharmacies into one network, so demand can find supply. We don't build warehouses and we don't replace pharmacies. We connect the ones that already exist.
LocalPill, the first product on this network, is live in Patna today. It's the first step. The network is the point.
What's next: going deeper in Patna first. More pharmacies, faster answers. When the network truly works in one city, we take the same playbook to the next.

I grew up seeing this problem up close: a prescription in hand, and no way to know which shop has the medicine. It never felt like a medical problem to me. It felt like a missing piece of infrastructure.
So that's what we're building at UpcharMitra: the network layer for everyday healthcare, starting with the pharmacies of Bihar. Built with them, not around them.
Principles that guide every decision we make.
Every feature must measurably help a patient or a pharmacy. No vanity metrics.
We amplify neighbourhood pharmacies. We don't replace them. They are the network.
Patient data is used only to serve the patient's request. Never sold, never traded.
Healthcare is time-critical. We obsess over removing every minute between sickness and treatment.
